How much do hearing aids cost?
Hearing aids vary greatly in price and so there are hearing systems available to suit a range of budgets. Please book in for a free consultation where we can discuss a quote with you.
How much does ear wax removal cost?
For one ear we charge £40 or for the both we charge £60. We offer a free check for all. Ear wax removal is included in our hearing aid aftercare. Once you have bought a hearing system from us then there will be no additional cost in future for ear wax removal.
Do I need to put oil in my ears before having microsuction?
For the method of microsuction, we advise NOT to put oil in your ears prior to your appointment. For this method we find it works better without, however in some cases, we may ask you to put some in if the ear wax is particularly stubborn to remove.
I am having issues with my hearing aids, what should I do?
If you’re having trouble with your hearing aids, make an appointment to come in and see us. For minor problems or for a hearing aid adjustment, we will be able to sort this right here in store. If needed, we will send your hearing aid back to the manufacturer for repair.
How do I know if I have a hearing loss?
Hearing loss usually comes on gradually and so can it can be hard to notice when it is deteriorating. If you find yourself asking people to repeat themselves or that the volume of the tv is creeping up, then it may be time to have your hearing tested. Sometimes friends or family may notice your hearing loss before you do. As we offer a free hearing test, there is nothing to lose from getting your hearing checked periodically.
Are hearing aids the only solution to my hearing loss?
There is typically no cure for hearing loss and so the only way to rectify it is with a hearing system. Thankfully though, modern hearing systems are very discreet. We recommend the use of hearing protection to prevent premature hearing loss.
What is included in my aftercare?
We have a fantastic aftercare service in place, offering unlimited service appointments and 6 monthly checks. Microsuction ear wax removal is also included in your aftercare.
